We take pride in offering a diverse array of in-house amenities, one of which is our specially designed cinema room. This fabulous space has been created to provide the ultimate comfort, allowing our residents to relax and indulge in cinematic experiences on the big screen, creating precious memories with fellow residents or loved ones.

Our enthusiastic Activity Coordinators make great efforts to offer a diverse selection of films, ranging from timeless black-and-white classics to more contemporary releases. We believe that the act of watching a movie is an inclusive way of transporting residents into a new world, enabling them to express their emotions fully.

One of life’s simple joys is getting lost in a wonderful movie, surrounded by friends and family. At Dalgety Bay, we wholeheartedly embrace the idea that even in a care home, the pursuit of life’s little luxuries should never disappear. Our cinema room is a purpose-built room where residents can unwind, get cosy, and enjoy much-loved films and new discoveries on the big screen, complete with surround sound – promising a truly cinematic experience.

We take pride in offering a large film collection, catering to the diverse preferences of our residents. Our Activities Team ensures that our film library stays current and is refreshed regularly. Our cinema room welcomes visitors such as family and friends. We often host movie nights to help residents unwind and recline into our plush chairs with the accompaniment of cinema snacks.

Cinema FAQs

Our specially designed cinema room at Dalgety Bay Care Home has been created to provide a full cinema experience in the heart of our home. From a big projector screen and comfortable seating to accompanying snacks and lots of movie titles to choose from, residents can regularly visit the cinema room for a period of relaxation.

Each resident is welcome to use the cinema room as part of our all-inclusive experience. Relatives and loved ones are also invited to use our cinema room, and if requested, we can arrange for residents to have private viewings with their friends and family.

We are pleased to offer a variety of film genres as we get to learn residents’ favourite films so that we can ensure there is something that appeals to all. On occasion, we can also show special televised events such as sports and national events.
