What is Dementia Care?

Dementia is a long-term neurological condition that affects an individual’s mental functions which include speech, behaviour and memory. Having a diagnosis of Dementia can be extremely daunting. Our dementia care team undergoes regular training to ensure that the team has a high understanding in accordance with the many stages of the dementia journey. We are proud to provide an activities programme for all residents which includes both group and one-on-one activities and therapies. Examples of dementia-friendly activities include arts & crafts sessions, music therapy, and reminiscence activities. Participating in daily activities helps enhance the physical, mental, and social well-being of our residents.
