At Dalgety Bay Care Home, our Celebration Room is a warm, welcoming space where residents can mark birthdays, anniversaries, or simply enjoy time with loved ones. Whether it’s a quiet afternoon tea or a lively family gathering, the space is flexible — and it’s yours to use.
The Celebration Room is available for residents and families to book for special occasions, both big and small. It’s a private space with a relaxed feel, perfect for birthday lunches, afternoon drinks, or weekend get-togethers. Some families bring their own food, others ask our chefs to prepare a buffet. Either way, we’ll help you make the day feel easy and personal.
The space is also used for activity-led events, like drinks afternoons run by our activities team. From casual catch-ups to full celebrations, the room is there to give residents and their families more ways to connect and enjoy time together.
Food plays a big part in making celebrations feel like celebrations. Our chef bakes surprise cakes for residents on their birthdays, with a big cake to share and a small cupcake to blow out a candle. If requested, we can prepare a buffet with sandwiches, pastries, or sweet treats.
Families sometimes bring in Prosecco, or we offer a glass from our in-house drinks bar, depending on the occasion. Whether it’s a toast with friends or a quiet family gathering, we make sure there’s something special to mark the day, and someone there to help it all run smoothly.
In order to prioritise the comfort and well-being of our residents, our care home has been purposefully designed and constructed to offer a variety of facilities and services. This ensures that residents can lead fulfilling and enriching lives within our care environment.
The celebration room is available for residents to use with their families, friends, and invited guests, for occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, and other special events.
Bookings are usually made through our reception or activities team, who will confirm availability and any specific requirements for your event.
