Palliative Care

At our care home in Fife, we offer a compassionate palliative care service that supports residents who are nearing the end of their lives, as well as extend our support to families during this difficult and emotional time.

Our dedicated care teams go above and beyond to support residents during this uncertain period by making sure they are comfortable and well-supported during their stay.

What is Palliative Care?

Palliative care, also known as end-of-life care, is a comprehensive type of care provided to individuals who are in the final stages of their life, which could be due to natural deterioration from old age or terminal illnesses and diseases.

The main objective of palliative care is to ensure that those receiving palliative care are comfortable in their environment, with a focus on reducing pain and alleviating symptoms as well as maintaining dignity, and fulfilling their wishes. Care staff also extend their hand to loved ones during this time.
