Things to Do in and Around Fife
Dalgety Bay is located to many historical sites, from Aberdour Castle to The Blackness Castle, a 15th century fortress which offers an insight into Scotlands past. Fife has beautiful parks and green spaces, like Dalgety Bay Community Woodland where residents can enjoy a peaceful walk in and around nature.
The coastal town of Fife provides multiple attractions and amenities which cater to interests of many older people. St Andrews is known as the home of golf and residents can not only explore the iconic old course but they can also stroll along the beautiful West Sands Beach. We’re lucky to be just a 30 minute drive away from Dunfermline, with attractions such as Dunfermline Palace and Abbey.
We highly recommend visiting Fife’s coastal path, where you can discover a beautiful scenic walking route which stretches over 117 miles along the coastline. Older visitors can also enjoy leisurely walks, taking in the breathtaking views of the cliffs, fishing villages and beaches.
