Community Faith With Forthview Parish Church

Residents from our care home enjoyed an uplifting afternoon with friends at Fife: Forthview Parish Church – Dalgety, taking part in one of their favourite get-togethers, the Sunshine Group. The hall was full of energy as everyone joined in with dancing, singing, and plenty of laughter. Everyone was chatting away, and you could tell how much fun people were having.

The partnership between the church and our care home has grown into something special. These gatherings aren’t just social visits, they’re opportunities for residents and church members to share stories, build friendships, and enjoy time together outside their usual routines. The church volunteers bring warmth and enthusiasm that never fails to lift spirits.

This week, the connection went both ways, with the church team visiting our care home to continue the celebrations. The residents were thrilled to see familiar faces and to keep the good mood going with more singing, tea, and chatter. It’s small moments like these that remind everyone how powerful community can be.
